Small Budget Haul ♥

Hello lovely people!

Today I picked up these beauty pieces in my local shopping centre. I picked up the No 7 Stay Perfect eye pencil in Black. I picked this up after seeing my friend Caitlin using it and her eye liner always looks lovely. I used a No 7 voucher, which got me this product for £3.50! The product is double ended with a smudging device on one side and the eye pencil on the other. I think this is perfect for applying eye liner to achieve a smoky eye look.

I also grabbed some kirby grips from a make-up stall as I have recently dyed my hair to a deeper colour so black ones were a must have. For 75p I could have got more elsewhere but I picked these up when I was leaving the shops. The silver product on the right hand side, is a Maybelline lip gloss which I believe is discontinued also from the make-up stall. I picked this up for the bargain price of £1. This lip gloss is in the shade Magic Moon, it has a doe-foot applicator. This shade is a clear liquid with a slight shimmer through it, dispensed via the retractable bottom. I have already tried this lip-gloss as soon as I purchased it and I love it! It's similar to the Barry M lip gloss I received in the Boots lucky dip. Last but not least I bought a blusher brush from the brand Royal. I bought this brush on impulse as I have no blush brushes and because I don't wear a lot of blush I thought I might as well pick up a budget brush. The brush is dense packed and really soft, I have yet to test it out using my blusher but I will let you know how it goes when I do!

Hope you enjoyed this mini haul!

Skincare Bargain ♥

Hi everyone!

I went shopping again, (insert valid excuse here) and picked up this little beauty. I was browsing Debenhams when I discovered this little box of goodies for £12- Bargain! I have heard so much about the Eight Hour Cream that I couldn't pass up this bargain. The woman from the Elizabeth Arden counter was very helpful in telling me all the different uses for the Skin Protectant such as highlighting, soothing cuts, spots, burns and much more. The kit came with the Moisturiser for Face and the Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment. On first impressions I am very impressed with all the products included in this box. I haven't tried all of the products yet, but I have given the Face Moisturiser a try and I am in love! This is going to be my alternative to my Simple products on the days I feel like a wee bit of luxury. I recommend this bargain to anyone and the kit is a great buy rather than the individual products on their own!

Have you tried the Eight Hour Cream? Let me know what you think.

Liebster Award!

Hello Everyone!
I have been nominated for the Liebster award by the lovely Aoife over at - Simply Beautify Me. I am absolutely honoured that she picked me out of the blogging network. I have done some further research on the Liebster award and think it's an excellent idea to give blogger's more recognition. I have some questions below that I was asked by Aoife, that I have answered the best I can!
The Rules of the Liebster Award
  1. Link to the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Answer the 10 questions given to you by the nominator.
  3.  Nominate 5 to 10 bloggers who have less than 200 followers.
  4. Make up your own 10 questions or use the 10 your nominator gave you.
  5. Leave a comment on your nominee's blog about their award.
Here are my questions from Aoife :

  1. What made you become a blogger? - I became a blogger after many thoughts and ideas popped into my head and through inspiration via my favourite bloggers  e.g. missbudgetbeauty, beauty-crush etc.

2. What is one beauty item you could not live without? I couldn't live without my eye-liner it really gives my eyes that little something and makes my eyes pop if I'm wearing minimal make-up. I am torn between eye liner and BB cream although eye-liner has won it for me.

3.What are your favourite blogs?- My favourite blogs are Khila- missbudgetbeauty - Georgina- shemightbeloved.com - Sammi- beautycrush.co.uk .. So many people I cant choose!

4.Where is your dream destination? My dream destination is New York, it's a shopping dream! I love America and all the shops over there! Plus it would be excellent to get some products to blog about from Sephora! (Random I know!). I would also love NY as I love the look of Times Square and the surrounding area, it's beautiful.

5.What is your favourite season & why? My favourite season is definitely Autumn. I love Autumn as it's not too cold and I still get the opportunity to wear big boots and scarves and a beanie! Everyone loves a beanie!

6.What is your favourite quote? My favourite quote is a Bill Hicks quote- "It's just a ride!"- You can look this up to find out more about it, but basically it means that life is just like a ride, you can be scared and nervous but once your getting along you enjoy it. Loads of other meanings come along with this quote but I wont bore you with details.

7.If you could live one day again, which would it be & why? The one day I would live again would be, Christmas day- any year. I love the laughs and smiles around Christmas time and I love giving presents. I also love that Christmas involves everyone in your family and not just one person.

8.Three of your favourite films? Forrest Gump, The Notebook & The Inbetweeners.

9.Lip products or eye products? Has to be eye products for me, I would much rather have mascara and eye-liner than a lipstick or gloss although I am beginning to love MAC lipsticks.

10.What makes you feel confident? I am the least confident person I know, but I love when people compliment little things like your make-up or your nails. I also feel confident when I know that I have helped someone- whether it is with advice or just being there for them.

I Nominate: Hannah at www.playwithbeauty.com - Jessica at - www.gingerlypale.blogspot.com - Sophie at- www.sophiejenner.blogspot.co.uk - Suzy at- www.cynicalsuzy.blogspot.co.uk and Rachel at www.meltedglitter.blogspot.co.uk x

My questions are
1. What are your blogging aims?
2.Where are your favourite places to shop?
3. What's your ultimate beauty must have?
4. What matters to you most- hair or make-up?
5. High-end or High-street?
6. What's your go to product for lips?
7. How would you describe your style?
8.Favourite band?
9.Who are your favourite bloggers?
10. Which brands would you like to work with?

Boot's Lucky Dip ! ☯

Hello lovely people!
Recently as I mentioned in my previous post, I went out to pick up a few birthday bits for my mum. When I went into Boots to choose a few presents, at the till the woman asked me if I wanted to enter their raffle. I entered the raffle and she said that I also was able to take a shot at the lucky dip. I don't usually have much luck, so I wasn't very hopeful! I picked out a number and guess what I won?

A make-up goodie bag courtesy of Max Factor with some products inside! The products I got in my little bag were: Colour Exilir lip crayon in "Foxy Amber", Masterpiece Max High Definition & Volume Mascara, Whipped Creme foundation sample in Natural and Barry M Limited Edition lip gloss (No shade). I couldn't contain my smile

The mascara mentioned is similar to the Max Factor Volume Million lashes although it has more of a "wet" finish, I cannot wait to try this mascara out for a full day. I love the lip crayon, it has a deep pink shade, with a bold finish. Unfortunately I have already tried the Whipped Creme foundation and I wasn't keen on the texture of the product. I will most likely pass this product on to one of my friends, if not I will find a way to make it work. Last but not least, the Barry M lip gloss- this product doesn't have a shade although when swatched it appears clear. I love the creamy texture of this lip gloss and think it will be perfect to pop in my bag for college.

Shopping Haul ♡

Hello everyone! Today I have a small haul post from the weekend! I was at the shops recently picking up my mums birthday presents when I picked up a few things for myself. The Argan Oil leave in spray pictured above, was actually from Savers at a bargain of £1. I haven't tried Argan Oil yet, although have heard great things about it from various you-tubers and bloggers. I have thick heavy hair which is in need of some TLC so hopefully this will do the job!

Next I have the Gelly Nail Paint by Barry M in Blueberry. I picked this up in Superdrug for £3.99, I have been looking for a shade like this for a while and the gel shine helped me make my choice. Barry M and Sinful Colours are my favourite nail polish brands, so hopefully this lives up to my expectations!

In Superdrug I also picked up the Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara for £7.99. I have recently seen various friends of mine using this and their lashes look beautiful so I decided to grab it while I was in the store. So far I love this mascara, the wand is perfect for separating my lashes whilst spreading the product evenly.

Finally I picked up an MUA Blusher in Cupcake also from Superdrug. I have seen Khila (missbudgetbeauty) talk about the MUA blushes on many occasions and I cant go wrong on her recommendation! I chose this shade as it's not too bright and I think it is the best match to my skin tone. I love the formula of this blush, it is pigmented but easily to blend providing you with a lovely finish.

Hopefully next week on pay-day, I'll have another haul for you guys!

Impress Nails Review ♥

Hello my lovely followers/readers !

I have a new discovery (Late I know!) of Impress Nails! I love these nails. The elegant shape fits perfectly on my nails and is the exact length I would want! I am not the girl to normally wear false nails but these are my new favourite thing! I have only tried two sets and as I am clumsy I have decided not to purchase more until I have a special occasion to wear them.

I love the berry shade of the ones I am wearing above. These are perfect for the Autumn season and create beautiful looks when paired with gold jewellery. These nails are easy to apply and don't require glue. The nails come pre-glued with peel off tabs. Impress Nails tend to last longer when you buff your nails before you apply them to create a smooth base for application. The sets I have tried I have often broke one or two off but I have put that down to me not being used to wearing them.

These nails come in a variety of different patterns and colours. I have my eye on the Tie-Dye pattern and the Lace nails in the collection. The nails come packaged in a nail polish shaped container, which makes the nails easy to store and keeps the spares in a safe place! At around £6 in most Superdrug or Boots stores, I think these are the ultimate false nail at-home for me!

I recommend these nails to anyone who loves false nails or people who newbies to this market like me!

Bargains by Boots ✌

Hi everyone, thought I'd share a short post on my recent bargains! Within my local boots, they have a discount section with make-up and beauty items at the back of the store. I never normally browse these sections as I am glued to scanning the usual isles. I have only ever owned one of the Nails Inc polishes, and it was one I received as a sample in a bright red colour. Since then I haven't had an urge to splash out on some more of these polishes, but I couldn't resist these as a bargain! I picked up these nail polishes for £1 each! (Bargain I know!)

The shade on the left is Fouberts Place - This mauve/brown colour is perfect for the autumn season as an alternative for a nude nail. I love Models Own Utopia for a nude nail colour. I have not tried a colour similar to this, but I think it will become a favourite for me. I reckon two coats will give a perfect opaque finish and if your heavy handed a top coat also.

Karabet is the shade on the right, a deep blue with a slight shimmer. I love this shade, it is quite dark when first applied although I have given it two coats to improve the finish. This is my favourite of the two and I am chuffed I managed to pick them up for such a bargain!

So check out your local boots discount section!

Autumn/Winter Lips! ☯

Hello lovely people! Hope we are all excited for the September Weekend!

Today I am going to show you the lipsticks/stains I have been loving for the start of the A/W season. Above I have Sleek's True Colour Lipstick in Smother, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush and Revlon's Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie.

I am a berry lip "fan" during these seasons and the lip colours I have above are ones I wear daily. I have chosen three different textures, to give you a selection to suit different preferences.

Sleek is one brand I have fallen in love with over the last few months. Smother is a deep berry shade, with a sheen finish. I love Sleek's lipsticks, although I tend to need a gloss seal to provide lasting power. This lipstick is perfect if you are going for a "vamp" lip look and are confident to wear a bold lip.

Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm-stain's have a love/hate relationship with me. I love the minty taste and the smooth application of this product, the lasting power is also excellent. This product is similar to Carmex Original in the taste and feeling on your lips and has a beautiful colour. I recommend this product to anyone who would like a long lasting product with a vibrant pop of colour.

Raspberry Pie is my favourite of the Revlon Lip Butters, along with Crème Brulee. I love the colour of this lip butter and the moisturising texture. I am hugely disappointed in the lasting power of this product, like the Maybelline Babylips I feel I have to re-apply a few times throughout the day. This product has more of a deep pink colour, compared with the purple shades of the others. I recommend this product if you have time to reapply it during the day and prefer the pink undertones this product gives.

Swatches L to R: Revlon- Crush, Sleek Smother & Revlon's Raspberry Pie.

Sweet Smelling Saves ♡

Hello my lovely readers!
We aren't all the biggest fans of sweet smelling products, am I right? I am not a fan of all sweet smelling products but have picked out a few that I own which I think are nice fragrances and not overpowering.
I have used the "n-spa" lip butters for a while and find them really nourishing and they smell amazing. I bought the one pictured above in a trio, along with the strawberry laces one. I love them both and at £4 for the set of 3 was a bargain! I think these sets become available in ASDA at Christmas and make perfect gifts for someone who enjoys makeup!
The Cherry Cupcake body wash by Beauticology, I received as a present from someone in a larger set. I love the smell of this product, it reminds me of the cherry drop sweets. This products smell lasts long on your skin and leaves a fresh fruity smell. This product is budget friendly also, I think the set retails for around £8 and comes in a variety of different scents. The brand Beauticology is owned by Bayliss & Harding, which is also stock skincare items.
Lastly I have the Satsuma Puree body lotion- The Body Shop. This is definitely my favourite out of these products! This product has an amazing orange scent, with a thick moisturising consistency. I am going to purchase the large bottle of this when I venture in to town next. This product is a strong smelling lotion and I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't a fan of fruity smells. Totally affordable product at £3.00 from The Body Shop online!

Friendly Faces ♥

Hello lovely people!

Today I have a slightly unusual post for you, but hopefully you will enjoy this as much as I hoped. I am a student and as you know many students have a budget to stick to. I asked a few girls in my class what makeup they use and if they would bring in some stuff for me to have a look at. I am always on the lookout for new makeup and figured someone else might find some good products I have yet to see! I also thought it would be a good opportunity to my student readers or people on a budget to see what products are price friendly!
All of the girls items I have featured in this post have different skin types and styles, so I reckon this is a good opportunity to see if there's products I would like to try or splurge on!

Starting off with the lovely Elijah's make-up:

Elijah brought in these two products that she uses everyday for her foundation and concealer routine. They both have light reflecting power and are designed to give a healthy glow. The Wake Me Up concealer is something I am going to purchase on my next visit to Boots or Superdrug. Elijah having quite pale skin like myself really suits these two products and they sit well on her skin.

Misha brought in these products, one of which I already own. I have the little eyebrow and lash brush on the end which I recieved in a W7 kit for your eyebrows. Misha doesnt wear alot of makeup and like Elijah uses the Rimmel brand for foundation and by chance had the same mascara which is also Rimmel Extra Super Lash! The girls lashes always look lovely and clump free so I may give this mascara a try out! I think this retails for around £5 so if your on a budget this is definetly a must have!

Fay also brought in her makeup and made me very jealous by bringing in her Real Techniques brushes! I know these brushes aren't particularly money friendly but they are definitely a must have for any beauty enthusiast!
Fay has quite a few natural collection products and was telling me that they suit her skin type best. The Natural Collection is definitely budget friendly and have a great selection of products. Fay also had a liquid pen lip-gloss by Ted Baker (Available in Boots) that was similar to the ELF hyper shine lip gloss which is amazing!

Last but not least lovely Meghan's makeup! Meghan has a few more expensive items in her makeup that aren't budget friendly but are lovely anyway! I haven't seen a MAC lipglass in the shade I like so far, but the one pictured that Meghan brought in is a natural colour and suits her really well. I also would love too purchase the Speak Louder lipstick that she owns! Its a daring pink but looks lovely with Meghan's brown hair. Another product that caught my eye in Meghan's collection was the lovely blue nail polish! I have never worn a bright blue nail, since my H & M polish (Blue my mind). This is "Loafer Love For You" by Rimmel, at £2/3 I think this nail polish is a bargain and a beautiful shade!

As you can see by my research the girls have proved that Rimmel is a popular product amongst them all! I think I will be making a visit to my local Boots store and picking up a few of these beautys!

Before I go I am also going to include a little splurge make-up collection from Lee who also is in my college class! Her makeup is always beautiful and looks nice and natural. Lee uses the products below on a daily basis. Her favourite is the Chanel eyeliner which if I have the money i I would love to try as it looks so nice! All of her products are definitely things I'd love to own!

L to R: Lancôme lipgloss (gorgeous red shade), Cream eye shaper- Clinique, Automatic Liquid Eyeliner from Chanel in Black, Chanel Eyebrow Shaper, Lancôme Hypnose Mascara, Clinique BB Cream, Powder Pallette from Clinique and Clinique Eyeshadow Pallette.

Thanks for reading :) x

*Thankyou to all the girls featured for letting me see your makeup and allowing me to do this post, your all wonderful!*

My Autumn/Winter Essentials ♡

My ultimate must have products!
Garnier Cleanser, Simple Light Moisturizer, Leave in Conditioner by Aussie, Babylips lipbalm and Palmers Concentrated Cream.

Hi guys, today I am going to tell you about products that I think are essential for the coming seasons! The products pictured above help me keep my skin and hair healthy during the autumn/winter months. Garnier Fresh Essentials Refreshing Cleansing lotion is my go to cleanser for this season. I use the normal to combination skin formula with grape extract. It has a fresh natural scent and is safe to use on your eyes also. This product takes my makeup off effortlessly and leaves me feeling refreshed at the same time. This products perfect for people with sensitive skin, it's gentle and isn't harsh on your skin.

My moisturiser that I have been loving in colder weather is the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturizer. This moisturizer is perfect for my combination/oily skin as it isn't too heavy whilst providing moisture to your skin. I normally mix a tiny amount of this moisturizer with my foundation during the colder months, instead of just applying it directly to my skin before makeup. The non greasy feel is the biggest plus for me as I feel that products that leave your skin feeling greasy make my oily skin worse and genuinely aren't pleasant. For moisturizing my hands during winter months, my quick fix product is the Palmer's Concentrated Cream for Dry Skin. This product comes in the Cocoa Butter scent and a fragrance free tube. This product is a heavy duty moisturizer with saves those no gloves disasters on a harsh winter day. Its also good for those with generally dry skin around their hands and arms.

My hair is very thick and of medium length, so during the colder months I make sure I take extra care of it. In my previous post about Aussie haircare I talked about their Miracle Moist shampoo. I use this shampoo paired with the Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner pictured above. Again I absolutely love this scent, its bubblegum like smell is an ultimate selling point for me. This conditioner is in a spray bottle and is applied before you blow dry your hair. This product has saved my hair after numerous hair-dyes and heat damage. I recommend this product to anyone with dry or distressed hair, I am in love!

Last but no means least, I have my Maybelline Baby Lips in Hydrate. Every girl needs a lip balm in winter to prevent those un-kissable chapped lips! I have recently been loving the Hydrate lip balm as it keeps my lips soft and provides them with that much needed moisture. You can check out my post on the rest of the Babylips products to see which suits you.

Nifty Nails!

Hey lovelys!

Just posting a blog post to let you know what I think of the Sinful Colours nail polish. This product came to the UK this year, showing its collection in boots! I have went a little crazy and bought at least 7 or 8 the last few months. My favourites have to be 24/7, Nirvana, Be Happy, Winterberry and Pistache.
The nail brush in these bottles is slightly large and makes application quick and easy. Depending on the shade and the finish of the polish you may need one than more coat. The colours containing no shimmer or glitter tend to only need one coat and an occasional top coat in my opinion!
I love these nail polishes and recommend anyone to go out and buy yourself some from your local Boots store! At £1.99 for these polishes, they don't disappoint!

If general vibrant colours aren't your scene, this brand offer such a range of choice you won't be stuck! Pastels, neutrals and glitters are some of my favourites although I am keen on the occasional bright nail to add a pop of colour!

What colours do you choose? x

Super Skin Savers!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Daily Scrub & Visibly Clear 2-in-1 wash & mask £3.99 each at Superdrug

Today I thought I'd give you all a little post on the skincare items I have been loving recently. Both of these products are from Neutrogena and come in the "squeezy" cap tubes. The green scrub you see here, is perfect for your morning facial wash or just to give your skin a deep clean. This scrub contains microbeads which help exfoliate your skin. This is perfect for my skin type as I have quite oily skin which can sometimes be prone to breakouts. The method of application for this scrub is quick and easy, which is perfect if you are in a rush in the morning.

The second product I have pictured above is the Neutrogena 2 in 1 Facial Wash and Mask. I purchased this product after seeing Sammi aka BeautyCrush talk about it in her videos. This wash is easy to apply and excellent as it doubles as a face mask. This product for me definitely feels as if its working immediately after application. It has an almost fresh cucumber scent with a hint of slight chemicals. This product for me is great if you want a facemask that will not only relax you but help your skin if you have breakouts.

I recommend both these products to people with any skin type, though especially those with breakouts.

See you guys in my next post <3! x

My everyday makeup brushes!

L to R: Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, Front Cover All over Eye Brush, Beauty Strokes Airbrush Finish Stippling Brush & Elizabeth Arden Face Powder Brush (Large)

Hello lovelies
The brushes I have photographed above are ones I use on a daily basis to apply my makeup. The first brush you see on the left hand side, is the Real Techniques Expert Face brush by Samantha Chapman. This brush is excellent for applying foundation and blending it out over your face. It has a supersoft texture and an easy grip handle. So far I love this brush and I've only had it a few months. This has made my mind up about my next purchase from this brand!

The Front Cover eye brush, is one which I recieved as a gift in a kit from Boots. This brush has helped me as a beginner with eye shadow. It works perfect for applying eye shadow to the crease when you turn the brush on its side. It can also be used to do a full eye colour depending on the eye shadow consistency.

Recently I was looking for a stippling brush as I have seen many Youtubers and bloggers talking about how the stippling brushes provide an overall smooth finish. This brush is from TK Maxx I am unsure of places you can get this brush other than here. This brush lived up to my expectations of stippling brushes. I use this brush with my MAC Studio Fix powder plus foundation, which helps me buff it into my skin perfectly and obtain a smooth finish.

My last brush that I use daily is the Elizabeth Arden Powder Brush. This brush was a bargain purchase at the price of £8 in a Boots offer. This brush is a little large for normal application of powder or brusher so I tend to use it if I am applying a finishing powder or Mineral Veil. It has a soft fluffy texture and is gentle on your skin during applications.

I wash all of my brushes using Johnstons Baby shampoo, and rinse them with lukewarm water. With these makeup brushes I tend to allow them to naturally dry. This is due to use of heat on the brushes resulting in the glue that holds bristles melting.

I'll see you all in my next blog, mwah! x

My Current Wish List

Doc Martens- Amazon Link

I have wanted a pair of Doc Martens for a few years now, and through buying lots of bits over the years I havent really had the money to buy them. I aim to purchase a pair this year and think the Cassidy boots will be my first choice. These boots steer away from the plain/patent black pairs that are in fashion and provide an edgy individual look. Now to save up the money!

Elf Blush & Bronzer Duo- St Lucia: ELF

After seeing various You-tubers talk about this product I decided I must get myself one of these. This product seems the ultimate drug-store bronzer duo and for £3.75 you can't really go wrong. As I have pale skin I would go for the St Lucia duo as the colours are not as dark as the duo pictured. I cant wait till I finally have the money to purchase more make
up and this will be on my to buy list!

Tartan Scarf- Miss Selfridge

Tartan has been a trend I have been loving this A/W season. Tartan provides an edgy look and breaks up a plain block colour outfit. This piece is something I would team with a causal jeans and top paired with some converse. This scarf is a heavy thick material and is sure to keep me warm in the coming Scottish weather!

Real Techniques Brushes-Buy these brushes here!

These brushes are on my birthday list this year! I have heard so much about these brushes and think it would be love at first sight. The buffing brush and the stippling brush are the two brushes I would like to purchase first and then I may dabble in buying the starter kit for your eyes.

Products I picked up on my visit to the shops recently!

Hi guys, I recently went to my local shopping centre and picked up a few bits that I spotted. First I went to boots when it was 3 for 2 on the make-up section and picked up Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and Scandal Eyes Mascara and got another Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer with the offer. I then on a separate trip to boots picked up the Loreal Superliner and Maybelline Colossal Volume Mascara.

Two of these products: Wake Me Up foundation (Ivory 100) and Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Fair 1) are highly hyped on Youtube and various beauty hangouts.
I love the texture of the foundation and the healthy glow it gives my skin. The lasting power for this foundation isn't excellent as it tends to wear off my skin through out the day. I feel with this foundation a powder over the top dulls the glow effect this provides, which adds to the lasting problem. Retailing at between £7/£8 is an affordable price for foundation for me, although I cannot compare it to my MAC which has to be expected.

Secondly the Lasting Perfection Concealer has proved to be the must have for many beauty gurus and bloggers across the UK. This product is perfect for covering spots and dark circles. This product has a thick creamy consistency and is easily blended into the skin. This product if over applied can appear "cakey" under your eyes although thorough blending should ensure perfect coverage.

The Loreal Superliner in Carbon Black is slowly becoming my go-to eyeliner as it gives me a perfect line with little smudging using the precision brush. This eyeliner is my replacement for my Master Precise liner by Maybelline, as I appear to have lost it. Compared with the Master Precise liner I think the Superliner has a smoother line and longer lasting power. I apply this product over my ELF eyelid primer to make my eye look last as long as possible.

Both the mascaras I purchased are in the shade black, and have thick chunky wands. The Scandaleyes Mascara has an hourglass shaped wand, with thick dense bristles. This mascara ensures my lashes are clump free and is easy to apply. It does not provide any curl in my lashes although it appears to give them slight volume when given two coats.

The Collosal Mascara isn't my favourite of the two but I'll find a way to use it. This mascara has a very wet texture when applied and is easily smudged. It provides my lashes with a dramatic curl and is also easily applied. This mascara does not give my lashes volume and makes them appear clumpy. I love Maybelline mascaras but this particular one doesnt work for my lashes and seems to smudge alot under my eyes.
